MforMinimal is not only about jewellery. We also believe in mindful living and slowing down, the whole approach to lifestyle is also our very core value.
On Thursdays we love to think about where to chill over the weekend. So every Thursday we will be telling you our recommendations. Stay tuned because we will take you all over the place!
One of our recent favourites is Aquavit London, with the first restaurant opened in Manhattan, New York back in 1987. MforMinimal being heavily inspired by the Scandinavians, Aquavit London is as authentic as you can get in the heart of the city. Minimalistic lifestyle extend to relaxing and enjoying a slow day. The two Michelin star contemporary Nordic Dining place is a concept inspired by Scandinavian nature, led by Swedish born and raised Henrik Ritzén as executive chef.
The interior is overseen by the design studio of Swedish-born Martin Brudnizki, with the usage of silverware from Georg Jensen, wall-mounted textile designed by Olafur Eliasson, furnishings by Svensk Tenn as well as the stunning uniforms by Ida Sjöstedt, this place is where our London-based Swedish friends hang out for a taste of home. The high ceilings, hidden but central location, the vibe, they all make you feel you are out of London for a moment.
Next time when you want a little chilled moment in the heart of London, remember Aquavit can be an option for a Fika or smørrebrød. I heard the weekend afternoon tea is really great.
